At Narracotts our aim is to tailor and provide a Professional service at all levels. Throughout its long established history, the Practice has made itself available to a wide ranging Client base operating in all areas of the built environment. Professional teams led by Narracotts have an excellent track record for delivering projects on time and within budget. Whilst encouraging flair and imagination we do not believe in imposing preconceived design concepts as this seldom produces a building which meets the client’s brief or belongs to its place or time. Our designs evolve from a clear understanding of the Client's requirements, accurate assessment of the brief and clear lines of communication between all members of the design team.

 

At all stages of development the Practice acknowledges its duties and responsibilities as designers under the construction (Design and Management) Regulations.

 

The Practice maintains adequate Professional Indemnity Insurance. Policy details will be provided on request or can be inspected during normal working hours.

We have won many regional awards for our work. Including being “Highly Commended” in the Arnold Sayers Group Housing awards for Hesketh Mews, Torquay, the South West Regional Award for ‘Built in Quality for the best commercial building for Regents House, Torquay, the Best Community use of a building for The Chelston Hall Medical Centre, Torquay. We were winners of the Best Large Housing scheme and the Best Social Housing scheme for Evolve in Torquay and Ochre Close, Brixham. Both projects going forward and being shortlisted as finalists in the National Award ceremony. Best use of an Existing Building for the conversion of the Maternity block at the former Newton Abbot Hospital for Galliford Try Partnerships and were Highly commended in the Best Large Housing development at Lee Mill for Cavanna Homes. Winners of the Michelmores Property Awards Small Housing development for 6 detached houses in Rockbeare for Jameson Homes, regional Winners of the LABC Building Excellence Awards  for best large housing development for Primrose Hill Torquay for Cavanna Homes. We were shortlisted in the Building of the year category at the Michelmores  Property Awards for the Lodge House Kennford, and were Highly Commended at the National Housebuilders  Awards for Primrose Hill  Torquay.
