Looking for an Architect is perhaps the hardest part of a self build ! I have done two now and used the same team on both. I initially “interviewed” three and settled on Narracotts as I could see their professionalism shining through and you get that gut feeling about the people you want to work with. 

 

Both projects were a success and we are and will continue to enjoy the second one as it smaller now the children have left.

 

As a first time self builder there were some heavy learning curves which Narracotts helped us to negotiate, that certainly made it easier for us and they were very flexible in design to accommodate our final specifications.

 

The staff were always very helpful, supportive and had a wealth of knowledge if we got stuck on a supplier or product.

 

I have no hesitation in recommending them and have done in the past and they have never let me down in that capacity either.

Thanks for your professional services rendered, your input to the project was key and much appreciated.

Just a short note to the effect that the ground floor conversion works and the refurbishment of the existing flats is almost there, the building works will be inspected by Devon Building control and Architects Certificate personnel and also undergo a survey next week on the 24th. of February.

​

I would like to express my most profound gratitude for the assistance and diligence rendered by Narracotts, as without Narracotts this project will have struggled and probably floundered!

​

Hopefully another project in Devon will manifest soon at some point, I will definitely be down to Paignton with family for a weekend as it truly is wonderful.

I am just writing to re-affirm the thanks we gave you in the department this afternoon. I think that the re-build looks absolutely fantastic and the resuscitation room in particular is wonderful. I have already shown several colleagues around and they have all been extremely impressed with the standard of work.

Not only are we now provided with a fantastic Resus room, but the work has been completed to time and to budget.

Narracotts Architects have worked with us from the start and obtaining planning permission for our very first Baker Estates development.
